Platform history
Eyesmatch developed and patented key techniques behind digital mirrors, auto-framing, gaze correction, AR try-on, color and background change, and live image transformation. The inventors' early work helped shape commercial applications in visual AI.
Advanced display, real-time image alignment, and product visualization for beauty, eyewear, fashion, accessories, and in-store experiences.
Mapping, segmentation, personalization, color change, and live image transformation for products that need to understand the person in front of the camera.
The technology story extends across web, mobile, desktop, mirror devices, and home environments through licensing and technology transfer.
Portfolio
Eyesmatch developed its vision IP portfolio years before widespread adoption of video interaction and visual AI. Its early patents cover the foundational mechanics — how digital images are processed, transformed, and displayed in real time.
Simulating eye contact in video communication, including US 8,982,109, US 8,982,110, and EP 2,936,439.
Automatic user detection, framing, and presentation controls for camera-based communication.
Remote presence and image transformation methods that make digital interaction feel more direct.
Interactive display stations operating in mirror mode, including digital mirror and virtual mirror experiences.
Methods for virtual try-on, object isolation, appearance modification, and color transformation.
Foreground/background segmentation and real-time scene transformation in visual streams.
About
Eyesmatch is led by the inventors behind Memomi Labs and the Memory Mirror platform. Before Memomi was acquired by Walmart in 2022, the team brought AR mirror and computer-vision technology into global retail and optical environments.
Eyesmatch now carries that invention history forward through a licensing-focused patent portfolio across gaze correction, digital eye contact, auto-framing, digital mirrors, AR try-on, visual AI, and live image transformation.
Salvador is an inventor and entrepreneur working at the crossroads of innovation, interactive design, and technology. He is one of the founders of Eyesmatch and Memomi Labs (acquired by Walmart).
Salvador has been invited to speak at dozens of conferences and institutions around the world, including Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan, CES, NRF, SHOPTALK, and Microsoft Ignite. He has also been interviewed by some of the most prestigious media outlets and invited to mentor startups through Plug and Play and other innovation programs.
He completed the prestigious ACSE Program at MIT Sloan School of Management, earned a Master's in Design from Domus Academy Milan, and holds a BA in Business from the University of Manchester.
Ofer is a technology architect and inventor with deep expertise in computer vision, AR, optics, wireless systems, real-time image processing, and vision AI. He is one of the founders of Eyesmatch and Memomi Labs (acquired by Walmart).
Prior to Eyesmatch, Ofer held senior technology leadership roles at Fortune-ranked telecommunications companies, where he built strategic IP portfolios, led cross-functional R&D teams, and drove M&A initiatives. He excels at conceptualizing novel technical solutions and translating them into defensible, high-value intellectual property.
He earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Ben-Gurion University, and an M.Sc. in Electromagnetics and Electro-Optics, summa cum laude, from Tel Aviv University.
